Join us on the 30th of June for our Summer Garden Party at Nightingale House

Synagogue partnership

Nightingale Hammerson is proud to partner with a number of synagogues across the UK. However, we would love to invite more local communities to support our Residents across both of our Homes.

Our work with synagogues supports many areas of our charity and includes volunteering and fundraising but also offers friendship and much enjoyment.

There are a number of different ways to become involved:

  1. Connecting or reconnecting our Residents with synagogue representatives to enhance spiritual and welfare support
  2. Deliver education and learning on Care related topics to synagogue members and welfare workers
  3. Bnei Mitzvah charity twinning programme
  4. Volunteer Befrienders to meet and talk to our Residents on a weekly basis, particularly those without any family
  5. Entertainment from synagogue choirs and musicians
  6. Kosher gift parcels for Purim, Pesach and Chanukah
  7. Bridge & Tea events at Hammerson House or Nightingale House
  8. Fundraising through the High Holy Day Appeal
  9. Support during Shabbat services & Jewish festivals.

If you’d like to learn more or perhaps book a time to come and visit us and chat in more detail, please do get in touch: Reach@nightingalehammerson.org

We look forward to hearing from you.

At home I manage, at Nightingale I live."

I think Nightingale is very unique. It is a beacon, a beacon of not only care, but also of Jewish life."
