Nuno Santos Lopes
Director of Research, Innovation & Community Engagement
Passionate about having a meaningful impact in people’s lives, Nuno is a nurse by background specialised in Palliative Care and Care Services Management. Since joining Nightingale Hammerson in 2019, Nuno led the care team as Director of Care while re-opening Hammerson House and sustaining Nightingale House’s CQC Outstanding rating.
Leading Reach by Nightingale Hammerson is one of the most exciting projects in his career and together with a very committed team will connect with the Jewish Community and beyond to support more people to live better for longer at home.
Arielle Rostant
Education, Research and Community Engagement Lead
Arielle’s love for supporting positive and fulfilling relationships has led her from being a teacher, to training as a Drama and Movement Therapist to, since 2021, working in Nightingale Hammerson.
Currently completing a MSc at UCL in Clinical Mental Health, with a speciality in Dementia, Arielle hopes that her work can support older people to continue living engaged and fulfilling lives no matter their care needs.
Filipa Maia
Education, Research & Community Engagement Officer
Filipa joined Nightingale Hammerson as a volunteer in 2021, shortly after completing her master’s degree in Sociology. When receiving an opportunity to grow as a Therapist Assistant, she managed to assist residents achieve their mobility and independence.
Now, driven by a strong passion for Research and Education, she is excited to be part of the Reach team, where she continues to discover more ways to support the community in fulfilling their best lives.
Grace Soning
Community Engagement Executive
Driven by a desire to make a lasting difference in people’s lives, Grace has built her career from working in safeguarding to supporting individuals with extra educational needs at a specialised learning centre. She has worked closely with both children and adults, helping them build essential skills and achieve their full potential.
Now, as the Community Engagement Executive, Grace is excited to broaden her impact across the wider community, empowering people to live happier and more fulfilling lives at home. Alongside her team, she is dedicated to fostering stronger community connections and improving the well-being of those she serves.
