When I joined Nightingale Hammerson as CEO in July 2022, I knew I was joining an organisation that had an incredible reputation for providing exceptional care. Seeing this in practice is a great privilege.
The Care sector remains a challenging environment to operate in. However, we remain fully committed to providing the best care to the most vulnerable in our community and in spite of the financial pressure, find innovative and effective ways to ensure our Residents lead fulfilling lives, have a sense of purpose and feel loved and cared for in our Homes.
It is important that our Teams recognise that every role is hugely valued in Nightingale Hammerson. I am determined to remain hands on and support the team to deliver care to the best of our ability. I know that I could not do my role without the incredible Care and Support Teams so I prioritise ensuring they are well cared for so they can provide exceptional care to our Residents.
