Why is it important to include a charitable gift in your Will?
Leaving a gift in your Will is a powerful way to reflect your values and support future generations. More people across all ages are recognising the importance of legacy giving and charitable gifts as part of their estate planning. Additionally, there are tax benefits associated with leaving a legacy to a charity.
Legacy gifts are vital to Nightingale Hammerson. They help us deliver outstanding care to our Residents and support families long into the future. Your gift, whether large or small, honours the compassion and dignity we provide every day.
For many, a legacy gift is a meaningful way to support a cause close to their heart. It offers the opportunity to create a lasting impact beyond their lifetime.
You can choose to leave a gift in one’s own memory, honouring a loved one or supporting a particular area of our work. Gifts can take many forms, including money, property, art or other valuable items. Leaving even a small percentage of your estate can have a lasting impact and may offer tax benefits too.

Passed to Nightingale Hammerson after a loved one’s lifetime.
My mum, Maisie Barnett, spent 16 happy months at Nightingale House, receiving only the very best care and attention. For all the kindness, patience, skill, friendliness and professionalism of the whole team, on Ronson Household, Nightingale House will have my eternal thanks, respect and gratitude for all they did for my mum. I knew she was receiving the best possible care, so that many of the worries of having an elderly frail parent were lifted from my shoulders.

Nightingale Hammerson is a great charity to leave a legacy gift or to make a donation. You know your money will go direct to supporting their Residents and tremendous staff. They are full of heart and warmth.
