After seven remarkable years at Nightingale Hammerson, we will soon be saying farewell to Nuno.
During his time with us, Nuno has held several key leadership roles including Care Quality Lead, Director of Care and most recently Director of Research, Innovation and Community Engagement. In each position, he demonstrated exceptional dedication to improving the lives of older people and strengthening the future of social care.
Nuno played a pivotal role in establishing and developing our Reach by Nightingale Hammerson brand, which now provides more than 100 accessible resources supporting families, professionals and the wider community with trusted health and care information. His leadership was also instrumental during the pandemic, where he navigated unprecedented challenges with determination and compassion, always placing the well-being of our Residents first.
He also helped oversee the opening of Hammerson House and contributed significantly to develop social care research and to the innovative models of care that define Nightingale Hammerson today. Nuno’s impact on our charity, our Residents and our teams has been profound and his legacy will continue to shape our work for years to come.
Nuno said: “My time at Nightingale Hammerson has been incredibly special. Working alongside such passionate team members and supporting our Residents and their families has been a true privilege. Nightingale Hammerson will always have a very special place in my heart. I have loved every moment of this journey and look forward to keeping in touch and watching the organisation continue to grow and inspire.”
