On Monday 3 November, we were delighted to host a wonderful Literary Afternoon with Tea in the Pears Hall at Hammerson House, where Residents and guests enjoyed an inspiring conversation led by Linda Rosenblatt MBE with authors John Jay (Ninette’s War) and Rosie Whitehouse (Two Sisters).
Both authors shared moving stories of extraordinary Jewish women who showed courage, resilience and hope in the face of unimaginable challenges during the Holocaust. Their words reminded us of the strength of the human spirit and the importance of keeping these stories alive.
It was a truly wonderful afternoon filled with warmth, reflection and connection.
