Hammerson House, Wohl Campus is located in Hampstead, North London and is home to 116 Residents.

Founded in 1961 by Sue Hammerson CBE in memory of her late husband, Lewis Hammerson, its purpose was to provide care for older members of the Jewish community in a real home environment.

Our Care

We focus on a relationship centred care approach, highlighting the importance of meeting the needs of the Resident, but also addressing the needs of relatives and care teams. We recognise that quality care only happens when there are strong relationships between everyone involved in a Resident’s care.

Our electric taxi provides safe and convenient transport, helping Residents get to off-site appointments and outings with ease.
Our on-site salon offers Residents a relaxing space to enjoy hair and nail treatments, helping them look and feel their best.
Each household has its own planter boxes, where Residents take pride in planting and watering seasonal flowers.
Our therapies suite provides Residents with one-to-one sessions with our on-site therapy team, supporting well-being, mobility and independence.
Residents enjoy a friendly game of bridge in the lounge.

Multi-Disciplinary Therapies

We have one of the largest in-house therapy departments within a care home setting in the UK. The multi-disciplinary team comprise our physiotherapists, occupational therapists, a moving and handling advisor, dietitian and clinical psychologist.
