Over the weekend, the Reach Team had the pleasure of attending The United Synagogues’ Chesed Conference. Chesed means loving kindness in Hebrew, and the conference was all about how the Jewish community can come together and support each other.
After hearing talks from the Chief Rabbi, Ephraim Mirvis, and the Jewish Care CEO, Daniel Carmel-Brown, we hosted a session on enabling people to live well in the community in collaboration with The Jewish Blind and Disabled. It was a great, interactive session where we got to share Reach’s mission and learn common struggles synagogues face when caring for their congregants.
Overall, it was a great opportunity to meet those we aim to support and spread the word about Reach by Nightingale Hammerson’s practical advice resources.
