New CEO for Nightingale Hammerson

The Board of Nightingale Hammerson is delighted to announce the appointment of our new CEO, Jenny Pattinson, who will commence the position on 1 July 2022.

With 13 years’ leadership experience in Adult Social Care, 11 of which were at a senior level with CQC (the Health and Social Care Regulator), Jenny is currently Director of Older People’s Services for the Salvation Army.  She is operationally responsible for the provision of high quality, safe care across 12 residential homes, caring for 500 older people with the support of 560 staff.

With significant and in-depth working knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2012, Jenny is also an elected Councillor and Cabinet Member at Watford Borough Council; responsible for well-being and operations for Dementia Friendly Watford, Pensioners’ Forum and Watford’s Ageing Well community.   She is passionate about the provision of outstanding care for older people in residential care and care within the community.

The Board wishes to thank Helen for her dedicated and professional leadership of Nightingale Hammerson.  The last 8 years have been among the most transformative in the charity’s history.  Highlights include our transition from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ with the CQC, opening the Apples and Honey Nightingale Nursery and the introduction of the intergenerational programme and the re-building and opening of Hammerson House, Wohl Campus.

The charity looks forward to continuing their dedication to providing exceptional care for older people under the leadership of Jenny Pattinson; as well as grow and further develop the team of wonderful care professionals through Nightingale Hammerson’s commitment to providing education and career development for all staff teams.
