Work has now started on a new Hammerson House to create a world-class 116 bed residential centre for the Jewish community. The new building will be organised around small clusters of bedrooms with their own facilities such as a lounge and kitchen to make it feel really like a ‘home from home’.
Due to open in 2020, Hammerson will eventually offer the same range of services as Nightingale House. The redevelopment is being funded by a careful use of our own reserves and a £15 million fundraising campaign of which we have already raised £10m.
We are committed to raising a further £5m to make sure we offer a truly outstanding environment to match our world-class service. Donations will continue to be vital if we are to offer the very highest quality of care into the future.
